🎨 What Makes a Portrait Session Different
Headshot sessions are goal-driven — you need a specific result for a specific use. Portrait sessions are more open. We figure out what you want to communicate, and build the session around that.
That might mean dramatic studio lighting and bold looks. It might mean relaxed outdoor shots in SoHo that feel more candid than posed. Usually it's a mix. The session is yours to shape.
📸 Studio, Outdoor, or Both
Studio gives you control — precise lighting, clean or textured backgrounds, multiple configurations from soft and natural to high-contrast and editorial.
Outdoor gives you atmosphere — SoHo's architecture, natural light, an environmental context that says something about you beyond what a backdrop can.
Most portrait sessions combine both. We start in the studio, move outside, and see what works.
👔 What to Bring
Unlimited outfit changes throughout the session. Bring whatever reflects different sides of you — work attire, something casual, something you just love wearing. The steamer and clothing rack are set up and ready.
If you're not sure what to bring, we can talk through it before you arrive.
✏️ Retouching
Every session includes eight standard edits or one premium retouch. Additional premium retouches are $50 each. For larger projects needing more volume, I'll connect you with vetted retouchers starting at $10 per image.
