Book A Private Lesson - There’s No Real Substitute For Face-To-Face

The Basics: Learn Photography from the ground up with my introductory photography classes. Get a solid review of the fundamentals of photography, including camera and exposure settings, framing, motion blur, focus control, night photography, Video and much more. Courses are for all cameras, DSLR, Point and shoot, Mirrorless, and Phone cameras. You’ll learn, the main camera settings and options, simple tricks to enhance your sharpness, focus, create motion blur shots, freeze motion, use the on-camera flash, take photos at night, and gain basic control over your exposure. We'll explore settings such as exposure compensation and various presets that can turn a regular image into a special one. I will guide you through all the main options that your camera has, and how and when to apply each of them based on the effect and scene that you are looking to portray. Additionally, we will thoroughly introduce to all other digital photography related topics that you will need to know when planning to buy your next camera. These subjects include, megapixels, lenses, noise, white balance, ISO, SD cards and much more. Never miss that shot again!

Portraiture: This workshop is a full guide to the fundamentals of portraiture. You'll learn: Posing, capturing the moments, Gestures, Body language, backgrounds, shooting angles, and directing and interacting with your subjects. Additionally, you'll learn how to work with simple lighting, including natural light, window light, and simple home made lighting tricks that will efficiently enhance the look of your subjects. You'll also learn environmental portrait and gaining speed in shooting.

Studio & Lighting: You'll learn how to use the photo equipment including soft boxes, umbrellas, snoots and flash-meters. You'll do exceptional lighting effects as well as adjust your shoot for exact results. From classic lighting such as key light & fill light, to white on white. Additionally, you'll learn how to work with mixed lighting (Ambient and flash), motion blur with flash. The Lighting effects learned in this workshop are top notch and will provide you with solid experience in lighting that is applicable outside of the Photo Studio.

Editing: Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One: Learn how to fine-tune your pictures through post-processing. Topics include adjusting brightness and contrast, color balance, levels, curves, clone stamp, filters and more. You will receive practical instruction as they are guided through the software and editing process using both in-class images and their own.
